The Purpose
The purpose of this nonprofit is to empower special needs families to forge a community rooted in love, acceptance, trust, and faith - one that will last a lifetime.
It begins with A Gift from Heaven Connection, where we create opportunities for families to participate in activities together within a supportive and understanding community. We design events specifically with special needs families in mind—smaller crowds, reduced noise, lower stimulation, and experiences that many families might otherwise find difficult to access. These gatherings allow families to connect with one another, forming meaningful, lasting relationships with people who truly understand their journey. While participation is open to everyone—regardless of faith—Jesus will be at the center of all we do. For those who desire a relationship with Him, we will walk alongside you, offering support and encouragement in your spiritual growth.
A Gift from Heaven Connection
A Gift from Heaven Care Center
As our community grows, we will expand to include A Gift from Heaven Care Center—a place where adults with disabilities can continue developing life skills after high school. Our goal is to provide a loving, patient, and accepting environment where individuals can: Build friendships and socialize Prepare meals and learn daily living skills Participate in activities like gardening Continue communication and speech development Receive support tailored to their unique needs This not only enriches their lives but also provides caregivers with time to rest, work, and tend to other responsibilities. As with all our programs, while faith is not a requirement to participate, Jesus will remain at the heart of our care.
Looking ahead, we envision A Gift from Heaven Lifelong Care. This part of the mission was born out of one of the deepest concerns special needs parents carry: What will happen to our children when we are no longer able to care for them? Where will they go? Who will care for them? Will they be safe, loved, and treated with dignity? Lifelong Care will be a place where families can find peace in those answers—a home where their loved ones are already known, already loved, and already part of a community. It will be a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where individuals can live fully, continuing the same activities and routines they’ve come to know through the Care Center—surrounded by people who care for them deeply. A place they can truly call home. And a place where families can rest, knowing their loved ones will be cared for with the same love and devotion they have always given—until the day they are called home to be with our Savior.
